HCL Tech Dividend: The IT firm announces a dividend of Rs 12 per share

HCL Technologies Dividend:  The prominent IT firm HCL Technologies announced an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share on Monday, July 14, alongside its financial results for the quarter and year ending June 30, 2025.

“The Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 12/- per equity share of Rs. 2/- each of the Company for the Financial Year 2025-26,” the company stated in a regulatory filing.

Previously, HCL had announced an interim dividend of Rs 18 per share.

In light of this announcement, the company’s senior management will conduct a 60-minute conference call at 8:00 p.m. IST to review the financial performance and respond to investor inquiries.

HCL Tech Dividend Record and Payment Date

The company indicated that the record date for the interim dividend is July 18, 2025, with payments scheduled for July 28, 2025.

“The Record date for the payment of the aforementioned interim dividend shall be July 18, 2025, and the payment date of the said interim dividend shall be July 28, 2025,” the company noted.

HCL Tech Dividend History

Since May 15, 2003, HCL Technologies Ltd. has declared a total of 91 dividends. In the last 12 months, the company has issued an equity dividend of Rs 60.00 per share. Given the current share price of Rs 1,621.50, this results in a dividend yield of 3.70%.

HCL Tech Q1 Result Highlights

The company reported an 8% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching Rs 4,307 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2025. In the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, HCL Tech recorded a net profit of Rs 3,986 crore, as stated in its filing.

However, revenue from operations for the period of April-June 2025 rose by 8.16% to Rs 30,349 crore, compared to Rs 28,057 crore in the same period last year. Last year, its net profit was Rs 4,259 crore for the corresponding quarter.

Ahead of the results, shares of HCLTech fell by 1.13% to Rs 1,619.8 each on the BSE on Monday.
