Bigg Boss is gearing up for another exciting season, and discussions about the contestants’ lineup are already circulating online. One of the names being speculated is Lataa Saberwal, who is well-known for her role as Akshara’s mother in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

According to a report from Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan, Lataa was invited to join Bigg Boss 19, which is hosted by Salman Khan. The report also mentioned that the actress had agreed to participate in the reality show, generating enthusiasm among fans who were keen to see Lataa outside of her television serial roles.

However, a recent update from India Forums indicated that, regrettably, the actress will not be joining the much-discussed reality TV series. In a conversation with the outlet, Lataa confirmed, “Yes, I was approached, but I’m not doing it.” Her straightforward response put an end to the speculation, as she clarified that although she was considered for Bigg Boss 19, she declined the opportunity.

The rumors regarding Lataa’s involvement in the reality show surfaced shortly after her split from her husband, Sanjeev Seth. The couple portrayed Hina Khan’s on-screen parents in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and their relationship blossomed into love. Lataa and Sanjeev married in 2010, but after 15 years together, they chose to separate. They have a son named Aarav.

Lataa took to social media to share the news and asked fans and the media to refrain from inquiring about the reasons behind their personal decision, urging everyone to respect her privacy.

On Instagram, Lataa expressed, “After a prolonged silence, I declare that I, Lataa Saberwal, have been separated from my husband, Mr. Sanjeev Seth. I give my gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life.

According to screen reports, Bigg Boss 19 is scheduled to debut on the final weekend of August this year and is expected to last for five months, which would make it one of the longest seasons to date.
