Raveena Tandon is joyfully celebrating her son Ranbir’s 18th birthday on Saturday, July 12. The actress shared a collection of charming photos of Ranbir from his childhood on her Instagram account. She wrote a heartfelt message for her son, conveying her love for him. Referring to Ranbir as her “sunshine,” Raveena welcomed him into adulthood.

“Welcome to Adulthood my son, Happy 18th. I love you, you’re my heart ♥️, My sunshine, my forever love. Proud of the Man you’ve become. Kind, compassionate, strong, caring. Mahadev walks with you. Thank you for choosing me to be your mum, you wise old soul ♥️😘,” she expressed.

Raveena Tandon fell in love with distributor Anil Thadani in 2003. The couple announced their engagement in November of that year and got married in 2004 at Jag Mandir Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan, following Punjabi Khatri and Sindhi customs. They proudly welcomed their daughter Rasha in 2005. Raveena became a mother again in July 2008 with the birth of her son Ranbir.

Earlier this year, Rasha made her acting debut in the film Azaad. This movie also marked the acting debut of Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, known for his acclaimed works like Kai Po Che and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, the film received mixed reviews from audiences.

“I believe mom did an excellent job of keeping us away from the spotlight for a long time and not exposing us too much to it. Nowadays, I observe children growing up under immense attention and scrutiny. However, I understand that it’s beyond their control since people are eager to know and see what’s happening. Mom protected my brother and me very well in that regard,” Rasha shared with News18 Showsha previously.

Raveena was last seen in the comedy film Ghudchadi, which premiered in August 2024.
