Renowned actor Sharad Kelkar is making his return to television with a new series, Tumm Se Tumm Tak. Produced by Prateek Sharma, this show signifies Sharad’s comeback in a prominent role. He portrays Arya Vardhan, a prosperous billionaire whose life takes a turn upon meeting Anu, a vibrant young woman from a middle-class background.

The narrative revolves around two individuals from contrasting worlds. In an exclusive interview with The Times of India, Sharad expressed that this aspect is what makes the show unique. “Tumm Se Tumm Tak explores how two people from different walks of life unite through love and the challenges of life,” he stated.

Arya has put in significant effort to achieve billionaire status, while Anu has encountered numerous obstacles. “This isn’t merely a fairytale romance. It’s genuine, emotional, and heartfelt,” Sharad remarked. For him, the essence of the story is paramount. “Whether it’s TV, film, or web — the medium is of little importance. What truly matters is the narrative and the character,” he clarified. “This project encompasses everything. The script is intricate, featuring emotional peaks and valleys, and at its heart, a beautiful love story,” the actor elaborated.

This show holds special significance for Sharad as it brings him back to a channel he feels a strong connection with. “It feels like returning home,” he shared, adding, “I’ve had unforgettable experiences here. To come back with such a powerful role is incredibly rewarding.” Sharad commended producer Prateek Sharma, describing him as honest, grounded, and supportive. He also expressed gratitude to his team for assisting him in managing his busy schedule. The actor has a film and a web series in the pipeline as well.

Recognized for his intense and challenging roles, Sharad views Arya Vardhan as an opportunity to showcase a gentler side. “People frequently perceive me as a cop or a villain. However, I’m a romantic at heart,” he confides. “This role allows me to convey that emotion,” he emphasized. He also discussed the distinctive bond that television provides. “TV is authentic. The character must feel real because you embody it daily,” the actor remarked.

Sharad assures that Tumm Se Tumm Tak will provide more than merely a straightforward love story. “It’s about personal growth, healing, and finding oneself through another individual,” he finished.
