Anticipation is at an all-time high as National Award-winning actor Dhanush, along with producer Dr. Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International, has announced the start of filming for their newest feature. The eagerly awaited film, provisionally titled D54, commenced production today under the direction of Vignesh Raja, known for his work on Por Tozhil. Adding to the excitement, renowned music composer GV Prakash Kumar has been brought on board to create the film’s score, continuing his successful partnership with Dhanush.

The announcement poster establishes a dramatic atmosphere: Dhanush is depicted standing alone in a cotton field surrounded by flames, his head lowered. This imagery suggests a character pushed to his limits, leaving audiences eager to discover how he will respond.

Dhanush was last seen in Kuberaa, a social thriller that explores the intertwined lives of a beggar and a CBI officer caught in a complex narrative involving a business tycoon’s wealth. Rashmika plays a pivotal role in the film, which also stars Jim Sarbh and Dilip Tahil.
