Saiyaara, a musical romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri and featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in leading roles, is creating quite a stir. The film’s official trailer was recently released, garnering positive feedback from both fans and critics. Numerous Bollywood celebrities have expressed their support for the trailer, with actress Bipasha Basu being the latest to join in, giving the film a shoutout.

Bipasha took to Instagram to share the trailer of Saiyaara on her stories, captioning it, “So looking forward to this #Saiyaara.”

The trailer opens with Ahaan Panday, the newcomer, addressing the issue of what many now call ‘nepotism’. It then immerses viewers in a love story, showcasing the character arcs of Ahaan and Aneet Padda, culminating in heartbreak. Ahaan is depicted as a strong newcomer aspiring to be a singer, while Aneet plays an innocent composer. The 2-minute and 44-second trailer has left audiences eager for more.

Produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara is scheduled to hit theaters on July 18, promising a touching narrative centered on love, identity, and emotional richness.

In their Instagram post sharing the trailer, the production company stated, “Flawed, imperfect people make for perfect love stories… experience a love story so pure that it heals your heart #SaiyaaraTrailer OUT NOW! #Saiyaara releasing in theatres on 18th July. #AkshayeWidhani.”

The filmmakers have already released several songs from the movie, including Faheem-Arslan’s Saiyaara title track, Jubin Nautiyal’s Barbaad, Vishal Mishra’s Tum Ho Toh, Sachet-Parampara’s Humsafar, and Arijit Singh and Mithoon’s Dhun.

Saiyaara is set to encounter a competition with Anupam Kher’s forthcoming directorial project, Tanvi The Great, which stars debutant Shubhangi Dutt in the leading role.

Turning our attention back to Bipasha, the actress has recently shared that she will soon be making her return to Bollywood. However, specifics regarding her upcoming project have not yet been disclosed. She mentioned to ETimes, “I miss the camera. I love acting. I used to do it 365 days a year and I’ve done it for 20 years. So, I do miss it. And it (return to acting) will happen soon.” Bipasha’s most recent appearance was in the web series Dangerous, which premiered in 2020 on MX Player.
