Actor Amitabh Bachchan expresses immense pride as a father for his son, Abhishek Bachchan, who is receiving significant praise for his role in the recent film ‘Kaalidhar Laapata’.

Amitabh took to his X account to share a glowing review of Abhishek’s performance from director Tinnu Anand, stating that it filled him with “pride” for his son.

Directed by Madhumita, ‘Kaalidhar Laapata’ features Abhishek as Kaalidhar—a middle-aged man struggling with memory loss, feelings of abandonment, and a lifetime of subtle betrayals.

Upon overhearing his siblings’ harsh scheme to leave him behind at the bustling Maha Kumbh Mela, Kaalidhar resolves to vanish on his own terms. Fate steps in through Ballu (Daivik Bhagela), a candid, street-smart 8-year-old who has been navigating life alone on the chaotic streets of India.

Before ‘Kaalidhar Laapata’, the actor appeared in the hit film ‘Housefull 5’, which also featured Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in leading roles.
