RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav praised his son and former Bihar Deputy CM, Tejashwi Yadav, on Saturday, stating that he works diligently and deserves to be entrusted with full responsibility.

During a media interaction on RJD Foundation Day, Lalu expressed his gratitude and reiterated his dedication to fortifying the party in preparation for the upcoming elections.

“I extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone. We will ensure our party remains strong. Tejashwi Yadav is tirelessly working, day and night, to unite people and reach out everywhere. As the elections draw near, we must empower Tejashwi with full responsibility and strength,” Yadav remarked.

Lalu Yadav also recognized the contributions of his wife, Rabri Devi, in balancing both party and family duties. “The public has placed their trust in us, and we will not disappoint you… I am grateful to Rabri Devi for her care of me, our family, and the party. She diligently oversees the party day and night while also managing her health,” he added.

Regarding candidate selection for the forthcoming elections, Yadav mentioned, “We will conduct a survey to determine the candidates. The MLA candidates will be selected from among you, and we will engage in discussions about this. We will uphold the flag of your trust.”

Conveying his appreciation to supporters nationwide, he concluded with an inspiring message: “People have traveled from all over the country; I thank each one of them.
