Renowned singer and composer Amaal Mallik, recognized for his contributions to films such as Kabir Singh, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Airlift, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Roy, made a startling assertion that Bollywood is attempting to treat Kartik Aaryan in the same manner as they did Sushant Singh Rajput, by marginalizing the Satyaprem Ki Katha star within the industry.
“The public has grasped the truth about this industry… it is so dark that people’s lives have been lost. Sushant Singh Rajput could not cope with it. Whatever happened to him, some attribute it to murder, while others consider it suicide. Regardless, a person is gone,” Amaal expressed while discussing the grim aspects of Bollywood in an interview with Mirchi Plus.
“This industry has impacted their minds and souls. People have also demoralized them. This industry is such a place. When this issue came to light, the common man’s sentiment towards Bollywood shifted… They expressed, ‘Forget these individuals. They are despicable people,'” he stated.
