As reported by the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, property losses are estimated to exceed ₹400 crore, with the death toll likely to increase as rescue efforts are underway.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a rain alert for the region until July 7, indicating that heavy showers will persist.
