‘Ghana: A Source of Inspiration for Africa’ – PM Modi Speaks to the Ghanaian Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Ghanaian parliament, signed agreements in research and development, healthcare, and cultural exchange, and honored the Nkrumah memorial.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made history on Thursday by addressing the Ghanaian parliament, marking the first time in thirty years that an Indian Prime Minister has done so for one of Africa’s emerging economies. During his speech, he referred to Ghana as a source of inspiration for the African continent.

“Ghana is a nation that shines with democracy and excellence,” PM Modi stated.
