The creators of Rajkummar Rao’s forthcoming political drama film ‘Maalik’ have finally unveiled its trailer on Tuesday. Directed by Pulkit, the film features Bengali cinema icon Prosenjit Chatterjee in a leading role.

In Maalik, Rajkummar Rao takes on the role of a merciless gangster who seems willing to do anything to achieve his aspirations for political power and recognition. With his rugged appearance and dynamic action sequences, Rajkummar embodies a raw and intense character, contrasting sharply with his recent performances in comedy films like ‘Stree’, ‘Stree 2’, and ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf.’

Also featuring Manushi Chhillar in a prominent role, alongside Saurabh Shukla and Saurabh Sachdeva in significant parts, Maalik is set against the gritty backdrop of 1980s Allahabad. It tells a hard-hitting story of ambition, power, and survival, examining the cost of ascending in a world dominated by guns, greed, and loyalty.
