Bollywood was left in disbelief late Friday, June 27, when actress and model Shefali Jariwala, renowned for her music video Kaanta Laga, passed away due to cardiac arrest. She was 42 years old. According to media reports, Shefali suddenly felt chest pain at her residence in Mumbai. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri. Unfortunately, doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival.

According to the latest reports, the hospital disclosed that Shefali had already passed away before reaching the facility. Shefali gained fame after her iconic video in 2002 as the ‘Kanta Laga girl,’ which captivated India. Her electrifying remix video solidified her status in pop culture. She later appeared in films such as Mujhse Shadi Karoge and participated in well-known reality shows, including Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye seasons 5 and 7. Despite her public persona, she faced ongoing health challenges.
